OVERVIEW
This role supports hospital supply chain operations by receiving, stocking, tracking, and delivering medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas. The position maintains inventory accuracy, rotates stock to prevent expiration, transports equipment and materials, enters supply charges, and helps ensure departments have the resources they need. Strong attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and customer service skills are important for keeping hospital operations running smoothly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
If driving a Mercy vehicle is required, applicant must have a driving record that is insurable under Mercyhealth’s insurance coverage guidelines. Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercy’s HR-01 Fleet Safety Policy. Position is subject to annual driving record background checks per Mercy’s HR-01 Fleet Safety Policy. The Technician must maintain a valid driver’s license.
Driving a Mercy vehicle is specifically required in the following departments:
Janesville Distribution Center
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Effective interpersonal/communication skills
Ability to work with internal customers in assessing their needs and the most appropriate solution.
Ability to effectively use applicable MMIS system
Ability to perform assigned tasks using a desk top computer or mobile device.
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION
Ability to work independently under the direction of the Supervisor.
PAY RANGE:
$18.28 - $26.51
