Primary Purpose:
Manage pipeline nominations, volumetric balances and other related activities. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated individual with desire to contribute knowledge, ideas and continued learning.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- One plus years of Natural Gas scheduling or relevant experience.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
- Understanding of the natural gas pipeline industry’s scheduling processes.
- Understanding of the commercial aspects of the natural gas industry, with a comprehensive understanding of the commercial aspects of Tallgrass’ business.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

Excellent communication skills.
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, SharePoint, Molecule. Familiarity preferred for pipeline scheduling software: Quorum, Actenum, Pipedrive, CSI, DART etc.
Be flexible and respond effectively to changing schedules, priorities, and other urgent situations.
Grasp and execute Gas Scheduling responsibilities.
High level of concentration.
Remain focused and exercise good judgment under highly stressful situations.
Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.
Job level commensurate with experience and skill sets; position will be filled depending on qualifications, experience and skill sets of the successful candidate.

Working Conditions:
Required to carry a cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.
Required availability (currently Day, Evening, Weekend, including Holidays) to provide gas scheduling coverage 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
Required to work On-Call duty and non-traditional hours as needed.
The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
Commercial experience
Pipeline operations and procedure experience.
Proficient in other interstate pipelines’ services, operations and scheduling processes.
Working relationships with external scheduling personnel and customers, with an understanding of the business needs of both and the ability to extract value from those relationships.
Working knowledge of NAESB Standards and Guidelines as it relates to Nominations, Scheduling & Confirmations.
Direct Experience with Rockies Express Pipeline, Ruby Pipeline, Tallgrass Interstate Pipeline, Wyoming Interstate Company, Colorado Interstate Gas Company, Natural Gas Pipeline Company, Southern Star Central Pipeline, Panhandle Eastern Pipeline
