Job Overview
We are seeking a person for part time masonry & some concrete Laborer. Hours are part time and flexible. You may work one day this week nothing the next week than maybe work 4 days the next week etc.. Excellent for a person looking to make some extra cash!
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced masons with laying bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials according to project specifications
- Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, mixing mortar, and organizing tools and materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and installing masonry units
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise placement of materials
- Install rebar reinforcement and assist with concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed
- Maintain safety protocols on-site by adhering to OSHA standards and ensuring proper use of safety equipment
Experience
- Prior experience in concrete masonry or related construction fields is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with mortar work, stone masonry, bricklaying, and concrete finishing techniques
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material handling
- Experience in scaffold building, metal stud framing, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing or restoration projects is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to construction sites and masonry work environments
- Must have reliable transportation. Must be on time and reliable
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
