We are looking for an Affiliate Services Coordinator to join the Strategic Communications & Member Engagement Department. This position will work across multiple departments within the League to coordinate the administration of services provided to our affiliate membership organizations. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Strategic Communication and Member Engagement. Duties include:

Works closely with the liaison to foster a positive relationship between the League and the affiliate organization. Maintains a professional attitude with affiliate projects/needs.

Respond to affiliate member inquiries and identify solutions at both the individual and board level alongside liaisons.

Troubleshoots technical issues related to website login, event registration, CRM updating, and other technical assistance.

Demonstrates a positive attitude when providing member assistance.

Listens attentively and respectfully during affiliate board meetings and other meetings. Identifies and suggests ways to increase member satisfaction.

Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to take on responsibility and challenges with dependability and attention to detail; strong written communication skills; ability to read and interpret financial statements; project management skills and the ability to switch gears quickly if needed; ability and willingness to learn and work within a CRM database and learn new technologies; patient and helpful approach to customer service. Friendly and professional demeanor and the ability to cultivate positive relationships between the League and our affiliated membership organizations.
Qualifications of Ideal Candidate
Four-year degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, and/or other related degrees. Two to five or more years of experience. An understanding of local government in North Carolina is a plus.

A hybrid work arrangement is available that allows for two in-office and three work-from-home days each week.
