We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host - Greeter to create a positive first impression for our guests. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face that greets visitors, manages reservations, and ensures smooth guest flow throughout the establishment. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional guest experience, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment guests arrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be the friendly ambassador of our hospitality team, ensuring every guest feels valued and comfortable.
Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a lively and professional demeanor, making them feel immediately welcomed.
- Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Answer phone inquiries with courtesy and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest flow, maintaining a smooth operation during busy periods.
- Assist guests with any special requests or needs, demonstrating excellent guest relations and hospitality skills.
- Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all materials are ready for daily operations.
- Support team members by providing exceptional customer service that enhances overall guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong background in food service and customer service roles, with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Experience in hotel or guest services settings is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of hospitality standards.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and positive attitude.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse guests.
