Work swiftly and effectively with potential clients, families, outside providers, internal clinical and medical staff to meet all requirements
Responsible for Quality of Care during the Admissions and Intake Process
Coordinate and facilitate communication between all departments to assure that accurate client information is received in a timely manner
Coordinate telephone contact with referrals regarding admissions of their clients and document in the client chart at the time of admission by completing all necessary paperwork
Continue to cultivate relationships with current referents and provide exceptional service on behalf of New Directions for Women.
Tour potential clients, family members, or referents as needed
Communicates effectively with finance department on anything involving financials, treatment fees, or money-on-the-books arrangements
Communicates promptly and effectively with medical and clinical personnel regarding intake approval and other necessary arrangements
Schedules and performs patient intakes
Responsible for reporting on department KPIs and meeting goals identified by leadership
The schedule for this position is variable and may include night and weekend hours based on facilitating admissions to the program.
Develop and maintain procedures and policies consistent to licensing and certification standards and admission protocols
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor along with a positive attitude
Adherence to patient privacy (HIPAA) and confidentiality standards at all times
At least 3 years of work experience in SUD treatment
Clear Probation Check with Orange County Probation prior to employment starting.
Must have sensitivity to and ability to embrace individuals of different genders, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, physical abilities and those with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Clinical credential [if credentialing is in progress upon hire, the employee must be fully credentialed within 45 days of hire]
Attendance in appropriate support groups is required, as directed by supervisor, in order to gain a better perception of the disease they will be working around or with on a daily basis in order to model 12 step principles. (AA, NA, OA, Al-Anon, etc.)
