Travel Pharmacist Opportunities | Houston, TX | Up to $3,300/Week | Multiple Shifts Available
Position: Pharmacist
We are looking for subject matter experts for the oncology spot with at least 1-2 years of clinical oncology experience making treatment plan recommendations, working with benefits and appeals, etc.
Location: Houston, TX
Weekly Pay : $3,200 - $3,300/week
Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 10 Weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Available Shifts:
Night Shift
- 7 On / 7 Off
- 10-Hour Shifts
- 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Evening Shift
- 8-Hour Shifts
- 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM or 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Day Shift (4x10s)
- 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday-Friday
- On-call rotation required
Day Shift (4x10s)
- 10-Hour Shifts
- On-call rotation required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent hospital pharmacist experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Clinical Oncology
- Active Pharmacist License (required at submission)
- BLS Certification
- EPIC experience preferred
- Strong clinical pharmacy background
- Acute care hospital experience required
Job Responsibilities
- Verify physician medication orders
- Review and process medication requests in EPIC
- Triage pharmacy calls from nursing staff
- Retime medication administration schedules
- Respond to emergency codes and assist with medication preparation
- Review medications dispensed from automated dispensing cabinets
- Perform sterile compounding responsibilities as needed
- Ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
