Urban Dogg Broomfield is a woman-owned, independent holistic pet food store and grooming salon and we're looking for an experienced groomer to join our small, tight-knit team.
We're a one-dog-in, one-dog-out salon. That's mindful grooming in practice: calm appointments, no kennel stress, and the time to do the job right. It's how we've built lasting relationships with our clients over the past 12 years — both the two- and four-legged ones.
Note: We are not affiliated with the Urban Dogg stores in Denver, CO.
What You'll Do
- Bathe, clip/grind nails, and groom dogs of all breeds, sizes, styles, and temperaments
- Groom all dogs to company standards
- Check in and hand off dogs; maintain professional communication with pet owners
- Keep detailed grooming notes
- Participate in daily cleaning of grooming area (PACFA knowledge required)
- Enter prices and contact owners for pickup
No need to book your own appointments! We handle scheduling and phone calls for you.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of full-time professional grooming experience
- Solid knowledge of breed-specific cuts and styles
- Your own tools (we provide tables, tubs, cages, dryers, shampoo, and more)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs - we see a lot of big dogs
- Strong time management as our appointments run back-to-back
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A team player who thrives in a small, collaborative environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about your craft
