Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous parts counter experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to confidently assist customers face-to-face in identifying and purchasing the correct parts. Candidates should have a solid understanding of parts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service to both retail customers and service technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone in a friendly, professional manner.
- Work directly with customers to identify, locate, and sell the correct parts based on their equipment needs.
- Utilize parts catalogs, diagrams, and computer software to accurately research and source parts.
- Build positive customer relationships by providing knowledgeable recommendations and outstanding service.
- Process sales transactions, invoices, and customer payments accurately.
- Receive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory.
- Process special orders and promptly notify customers when orders arrive.
- Handle warranty claims, core returns, and manufacturer paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts department.
Qualifications
- Previous parts counter experience is required.
- Must have experience working directly with customers in a face-to-face sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of parts and the ability to identify components is required.
- Experience in an automotive, heavy equipment, powersports, agricultural, or outdoor power equipment parts department is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using computer systems, inventory software, and parts lookup programs.
- Dependable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
