Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Gymnastics Gym Director to lead our gymnastics program with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, organization, and execution of gymnastics classes and special events.
- Supervise coaching staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure excellence in instruction.
- Develop comprehensive training curricula tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously, including proper spotting techniques and first aid/CPR procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents and clients regarding class schedules, progress updates, and program offerings.
- Manage equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness to uphold a safe and welcoming environment.
- Foster a team-oriented atmosphere that promotes behavior management, sportsmanship, and positive motivation among students.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in sports or educational settings, preferably with a background in gymnastics or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated leadership in team management or coaching roles within sports teams such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, judo or karate.
- Strong knowledge of sports-specific training instruction methods and physical education teaching techniques.
- Experience administering first aid/CPR in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
- Prior experience in behavior management strategies to support student engagement and safety.
