We’re looking for a Full-Time Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our friendly, team-oriented multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Tomball. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys building patient connections, working collaboratively, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance—without nights, weekends, or call.
Our center supports a variety of procedures, including Orthopedics, Spine, Endoscopy, General Surgery, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Plastic Surgery, offering a dynamic yet well-organized clinical environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in both Pre-Op and PACU
- Complete pre-operative assessments and safely monitor patients
- Start IVs and administer medications per orders and protocols
- Monitor patients closely for any post-anesthesia changes and respond appropriately
- Work closely with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and your nursing teammates
- Educate patients and families so they feel informed and comfortable throughout their surgical experience
- Make Pre-Op and Post-Op follow-up calls and document care accurately
- Assist with maintaining supplies, equipment, and a clean, safe environment
- Participate in quality improvement efforts that support excellent patient care
- Pitch in with other nursing duties as needed—we work as a team
What We’re Looking For
- Active Texas RN license
- Pre-Op / PACU experience preferred, but we’re open to strong perioperative or recovery experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
