Job Description:
Goodyear Towing is seeking a Night and Weekend Dispatcher to join our team. This role is crucial to ensure seamless towing operations during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatching, preferably using Towbook, and will work efficiently under pressure while maintaining clear communication with drivers and customers.
This position is in-office and involves weekend shifts as follows:
- Shift 1: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings | 5 PM to 5 AM
- Shift 2: Saturday and Sunday | 5 AM to 5 PM
The Night Dispatcher will also serve as backup for the weekday dispatching team during the day shift, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch towing services for drivers using Towbook software (preferred).
- Handle incoming calls, assess customer needs, and assign jobs to drivers efficiently.
- Monitor driver status and job progress to ensure timely service and high customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a liaison between drivers, customers, and law enforcement agencies as required.
- Provide backup support for the daytime dispatch shift when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs and service details.
Qualifications:
- Dispatching experience (preferred in the towing industry).
- Familiarity with Towbook or similar dispatching software (preferred).
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working night and weekend shifts.
