We are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The position entails working closely with clients, management, internal team, and carriers, to monitor and track loads and deliver real time updates and communication with the highest form of customer service. The ideal candidate would have a passion for freight and an entrepreneurial spirit, with a goal of developing a career path in the lucrative logistics, transportations, and supply chain industry.
Highlights:
- Follow load requests through multiple channels of communication.
- Collaborate with shift counterparts to effectively communicate hand over notes and load details.
- Communicate all load updates to clients via email.
- Book loads with carriers and communicate expectations.
- Directs carriers in operational procedures.
- Communicate with Shippers and Consignees updating them with pickup and delivery status.
- Anticipate and manage unforeseen delays in transit and suggest solutions. Positively communicate these solutions to customers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Office 365 and TMS software.
- Professional/Grammatically correct verbal and written communication.
- An active learner with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively gather information and communicate through rapidly changing circumstances.
- Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time.
Desired Attributes:
- O&G dispatching experience.
- Bilingual.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
