Are you a vigilant, reliable, and professional Unarmed Security Officer looking to make a difference? Join the team at Inter-Con Security Systems and play a key role in ensuring safety at one of our critical client sites in Ramona, CA. We’re hiring immediately for individuals who take pride in protecting people and property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and inspect life safety equipment (AEDs, fire extinguishers, duress alarms, etc.) and report any deficiencies.
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, or suspicious activity and document all findings accurately.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and support dispatch functions.
- Sign in all visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.
- Provide escort services, when required.
- Respond quickly and professionally to calls for assistance or emergencies.
- Maintain excellent customer service by treating all employees, visitors, and guests with respect.
- Promote and maintain the client’s brand image through professional and courteous conduct.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Guard Card preferable (we offer sponsorship!)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have open availability
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to commute to 20-25miles around your area
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Experience:
- 1+ year Experience in security or customer service
