Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently.
- Clean floors using various methods including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and longevity.
- Maintain janitorial supplies inventory, operate cleaning equipment safely, and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
- Follow safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy lifting, and outdoor work environments to prevent injuries.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, carpet cleaning tools, and sanitation practices is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while completing multiple cleaning tasks within scheduled timeframes.
- Experience with housekeeping management or custodial roles in hotels or similar settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of outdoor work conditions and outdoor cleaning techniques can be advantageous.
- Strong client communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience that includes handling cleaning surfaces, dusting, and operating various cleaning equipment.
