- Lead and facilitate behavioral health classes and group activities tailored to participants’ developmental and emotional needs
- Implement behavior management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure safety and promote positive outcomes
- Collect data on participant progress, behaviors, and treatment responses for ongoing evaluation and reporting
- Support individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or other mental health conditions through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
- Collaborate with social workers, medical staff, and families to develop personalized care plans and provide ongoing support in crisis situations
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance
- Strong skills in data collection, behavioral health assessment, and patient care documentation
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient care
