Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Staffing Recruiter to join our human resources team. Duties
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies utilizing social media marketing, talent management software, and HR systems to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct comprehensive interviews, assess candidate skills, and evaluate cultural fit through structured interview techniques.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, campus recruitment programs, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with hiring objectives.
- Negotiate employment contracts, salary packages, and benefits to secure top-tier candidates while maintaining compliance with employment law.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo to streamline recruitment workflows and maintain accurate candidate records.
- Lead high-volume recruitment initiatives across multiple departments, ensuring timely fulfillment of staffing needs.
- Engage in cold calling and lead generation activities to expand candidate pipelines proactively.
- Oversee onboarding processes including employee orientation, contract signing, and initial training & development sessions.
- Maintain compliance with HR legal standards related to employment & labor law, employee relations, and HR legal compliance.
- Track recruitment metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing channels and recruitment strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with hiring managers through ongoing communication and talent management practices.
Skills
- Proven expertise in negotiation, talent acquisition, and full cycle recruiting within diverse industries.
- Strong knowledge of HR sourcing techniques including social media management and research methods.
- Proficiency in talent management software such as Lever, Greenhouse, or iCIMS; HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or SAP; and ATS platforms.
- Familiarity with employment law in talent management, HR legal compliance, and contracts administration.
- Experience with technical recruiting for specialized roles requiring targeted candidate sourcing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage candidates effectively across various channels.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HR systems including Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or similar platforms.
- Skills in relationship management with candidates, hiring managers, external agencies, and community partners.
- Competence in social media marketing for recruitment purposes as well as lead generation strategies.
- Strong understanding of employee evaluation processes, succession planning initiatives, and employee relations.
