Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards

- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
- Use knife skills and cooking techniques to produce consistent, high-quality dishes
- Serve food promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with catering services and serving procedures is a plus
- Prior kitchen experience within the food industry or culinary setting is highly valued
