We are currently seeking motivated and skilled Surface Mine Construction Personnel to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to work on large-scale surface mining and industrial construction projects and who are willing to travel to multiple job sites.
As part of our construction team, you will assist with all phases of surface mine construction, including deconstruction, rebuilding, infrastructure installation, and site preparation. This is a hands-on position for individuals who take pride in quality work, teamwork, and safety.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance and industrial construction tasks
Assist with deconstruction and reconstruction of surface mine facilities
Install structural, mechanical, and process infrastructure
Work safely and efficiently in active mining environments
Collaborate with crew members to meet project schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar mining/industrial role
Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, ironwork, and industrial construction
Ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions
Proficient in welding (stick welding required; additional welding skills a plus)
Welder/Fabricator experience preferred
Knowledge of prep plant operations is a plus
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
