Job description: We are seeking a motivated and creative Copywriter to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, brand messaging, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a desire to learn about the latest trends in copywriting and e-commerce.
Duties
- Assist in developing and writing compelling copy for various platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and advertisements.
- Create engaging content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and marketing materials tailored for different channels and audiences.
- Utilize content management systems for drafting, editing, and publishing copy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct research on industry trends, target audiences, and competitor messaging.
- Support brand voice consistency by drafting and refining messaging guidelines across all communications.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns, taglines, and content ideas.
- Assist with proofreading and editing content created by other team members.
- Apply SEO best practices to optimize written content for search engines.
Requirements
- Strong interest in copywriting, content marketing, and e-commerce.
- Familiarity with content creation tools and platforms, including Google Docs and content management systems (CMS).
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and grammar.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn new skills related to brand storytelling and digital marketing.
- Previous experience or coursework related to writing, journalism, marketing, or communications is preferred but not required.
- Must submit a portfolio with samples of previous writing or copywriting work when applying.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
