Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Behavior Specialist to join our dynamic behavioral health team in Chester County, PA. In this role, you will provide expert behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, conducting comprehensive assessments, and collecting data to monitor progress. You will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral outcomes and enhance quality of life. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans grounded in behavioral therapy and ABA techniques for children and individuals with disabilities.
- Conduct intake assessments, vineland assessments, VBMAPP assessments, QABF assessments, and FAST assessment to determine needs and establish treatment goals.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track behavioral progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to ensure consistency in intervention strategies across settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Provide training and support to families and staff on behavioral strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to behavioral health, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation methods.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Proficiency in data collection methods for behavioral tracking and progress monitoring.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medical documentation standards.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations within a behavioral health context.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information.

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
