Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash handling and retail math calculations efficiently, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
- Process retail sales transactions swiftly using POS (Point of Sale) systems while ensuring accuracy and security
- Assist customers with product demos, upselling opportunities, and answering questions about store merchandise
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and support merchandising efforts to keep the store inviting and well-organized
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support supervising team members by helping with training on POS systems, product knowledge, and customer service standards
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers and team members
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving a broader customer base
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products through product demos and suggestive selling techniques
