Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning techniques and tools
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supporting catering or banquet setups when needed
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and welcoming
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards during all cleaning activities
- Help with light catering duties during events or banquets to ensure smooth service flow
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are required
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment cleaning and basic food handling practices is advantageous
- Experience with banquet or catering setups enhances your ability to support large-scale events effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workspace is essential
