Overview
Tanker Driver Needed! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tankers, tractor-trailer, and dry van trailers. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all regulations and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tankers and dry vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on public roads.
- Utilize manual transmission when required for specific routes or loads.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Familiarity with tankers and dry vans, and manual transmission vehicles is required.
- Experience in freight handling, including loading and unloading procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight transportation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during deliveries.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
