Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Professional Nanny to join our team in Saratoga. This role involves providing high-quality childcare for multiple children in a private home setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children while managing household tasks such as light cleaning and meal preparation. Applicants should possess extensive experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and be capable of caring for children with disabilities. Duties
- Provide attentive care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs.
- Support children's developmental activities and educational play.
- Maintain a clean and organized home environment through residential housekeeping tasks.
- Offer personal transportation assistance for school runs or extracurricular activities.
- Implement safety protocols including first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Engage in caregiving that accommodates children with disabilities or special needs.
- Manage light cleaning duties related to childcare areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in nannying or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
- Ability to perform household chores such as cleaning and residential housekeeping efficiently.
- Skilled in meal preparation suitable for children’s nutritional requirements.
- Reliable personal transportation skills to assist with school or activity pickups.
- Excellent caregiving abilities combined with patience, flexibility, and professionalism.
- Familiarity with nannying best practices for multiple children in a private home setting.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with parents and other caregivers.
