Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Team Member that will focus mainly and Accounts Payables and record Accounts Receivables to join our Property Management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a understanding of accounting principles. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the overall financial health of the organization. The Senior Accountant will work closely with other departments to provide insights and support for financial decision-making.
Duties
- Enter all accounts payable and then issue payment.
- Record all rents received.
- Mail any past dues letters.
- Manage accounts receivable functions.
- Work on special assignments.
- Prepare regulatory reporting as required by local, state, and federal agencies.
- Provide support during audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Strong skills in financial report writing and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) is essential.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
