Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns, ensuring all items are prepared for service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes that align with our hospitality standards.
- Operate kitchen utensils and equipment such as sharp knives and deep dryers.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Minimum 2yrs previous experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in hotel kitchens is advantageous but not mandatory.
