Join our dynamic team as an Apartment Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in ensuring our residential communities are safe, functional, and welcoming. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of building systems and appliances, addressing resident requests promptly, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our properties. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to appliances, fixtures, doors, locks, and lighting with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct residential painting, and other carpentry tasks to maintain property aesthetics and safety standards.
- Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or residential property upkeep with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing repairs, appliance repair, drywall and finishing work, light carpentry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A positive and proactive attitude is essential. Ability to work independently and / or part of a team. Must be able to follow directions provided by the Property Manager with regards to prioritizing work and preparing homes for the next resident.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely. Pay: $24.00 - $25.50 per hour

Experience:
- Apartment Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- HVAC Certification (Preferred)
