Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure each guest feels valued and satisfied
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café
- Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage POS transactions with accuracy
- Assist in food handling, food prep, and serving to support smooth café operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee industry knowledge is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment
