Responsibilities
- Assist with legal drafting, including preparing correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents with precision and clarity
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advisories
- Manage case files using case management software such as iManage or similar systems, ensuring accurate organization and timely updates
- Perform data entry and document management tasks, including filing, scanning, and organizing confidential information in secure document management systems
- Support attorneys with legal discovery processes by reviewing, organizing, and summarizing case documents
- Proofread all legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to formatting standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate meetings, gather information, and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining organized filing systems to streamline workflow
Qualifications
- Strong analysis skills combined with writing and proofreading abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Technical proficiency in word processing, data entry, and document management systems
- Excellent client communication skills paired with a customer service-oriented mindset
