About Us
Stewart Manor is a family-owned, licensed assisted living home in Northeast Baltimore, near Good Samaritan Hospital. We care for a small number of residents in a warm, home-like setting, not a large facility, but a real house where residents and staff know each other by name. We're growing, and we're looking for the right person to grow with us.
The Role
We're looking for a caregiver to help care for our residents and keep our home running smoothly. Compensation includes furnished housing/utilities where applicable, plus pay that grows as our resident census grows. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking for meaningful work and real room to advance into a long-term caregiving career.
What You'll Do
● Assist residents with daily activities: bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal care
● Prepare and support mealtimes
● Light housekeeping and home upkeep
● Help welcome and tour prospective families and residents
● Be a warm, steady presence in a small, family-style home
Schedule: M-F
What We're Looking For
● A caring, patient, and reliable person
● Prior caregiving experience preferred (professional or family caregiving both count)
● GNA or CNA certification a plus, but not required — required training provided through our licensed training partner
● Able to pass a background check and health screening
● Reliable references
