Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Job Listing: Creating Connections Therapy is looking for a full time BCBA to manage of caseload of approximately six children with autism.
About Creating Connections: Creating Connections Therapy provides behavior analytic services to preschool-aged children and their families in and around the Leawood, KS community. With a focus on delivering behavior therapy via developmentally appropriate teaching strategies in play-based settings, Creating Connections uses evidence-based practices in both their early childhood centers, or at the child’s preschool of choice when applicable.

Job Responsibilities: Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are responsible for developing behavior analytic programming for the children on their caseloads in the areas of learning readiness, verbal behavior, learning readiness and daily living skills. BCBAs are also responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments related to insurance reauthorizations, and for supervising the Registered Behavior Technicians who work directly with the children on their caseload. Other responsibilities include the following:
- Collaborate with other CCT team members including the Clinical Director, Occupational Therapist, and Speech-Language Therapists.
- Conduct parent training sessions.
- Facilitate team meetings with RBTs to train on programming as needed, and provide active supervision in which teaching protocols are explained, modeled, and overseen until RBT is comfortable and fluent with teaching procedures.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and organize workload in an efficient and productive manner in the assigned work time.
- Demonstrate ability to adapt to constant changes in schedule and environment.
- Provide quality ABA programming/procedures in a manner that takes into account the special needs of the patient (e.g., age, culture, learning ability, etc.)
- Take initiative to learn and apply new processes and procedures by attending in-services, pertinent continuing education seminars, and reading professional journals and sharing that information with team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Kansas and Missouri
- Interest in working as part of a team and collaborating with other professionals.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
