Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate daily activities for senior residents in a nursing home setting
- Manage activity schedules to ensure a variety of engaging programs for residents
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
- Provide social work support and counseling on aging issues
- Organize memory care activities for residents with dementia
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to enhance the quality of life for seniors
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or senior care roles
- Proficiency in memory care and dementia care practices
- Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with seniors and their families
- Ability to manage schedules and plan engaging activities for elderly residents
- Knowledge of ADLs and experience in providing support as needed
