The Program Director of the Elder Justice Program is responsible for the overall leadership, administrative oversight, and supervision of the Elder Justice Program. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality support services to clients and families served, compliance with all program standards, and adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements. The Program Director works closely with staff, community partners, funders, and agency leadership to support caregivers and strengthen the program’s impact.

Position Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree required, including one of the following or an equivalent master’s- level field:
o Social Work (MSW, LMSW or LCSW)
o Human services
o Social Services
o Public Administration
o Public Health
· Minimum of two (2) years of relevant supervisory experience in human services, social services, victim services, aging services, or a related field; experience working with older adults and/or victims of elder abuse is preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to lead teams, train and mentor staff and volunteers, manage compliance, and implement best practices.
· Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively across internal programs and community partners.
· Strong knowledge of Staten Island.
· Car required.
· Fluent in a second language (preferred)

· Ability to represent CASC professionally at internal meetings, community events, committees, and stakeholder meetings.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for all aspects of the Elder Justice Program
· Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Elder Justice Program.
· Ensure program activities align with contractual requirements, Program Standards, agency policies, and best practices.
· Oversee day-to-day program operations, including service delivery, compliance, workflow, and staff performance.
· Responsible for coordinating and reviewing the client files in NYC Aging database.
· Network with local providers and organizations as well as community groups in order to establish and maintain effective referral linkage as well as participate in local organizations for the purpose of maintaining and establishing a positive reputation for the program and agency.
· Conduct, coordinate and evaluate outreach activities for the Elder Justice Program.
· Provide direct services to elder abuse victims, including counseling, mediation with alleged abusers when appropriate, and crisis intervention.
· Conduct home visits as needed.
· Responsible for orientation and training of Elder Justice Program staff.
· Collect and analyze program data to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Develop, update, and implement program policies and procedures.
· With Fiscal Department, responsible for monitoring expenses to ensure program remains within budget
· Maintain familiarity with all relevant NYC Aging standards, including updates to standards and procedures
· Conduct monthly staff meetings
· Represent CASC at community events, committees and coalitions
· Assist with other program activities as assigned

Supervision:
Currently provides day-to-day supervision and support to a team of three (3) staff members.
· Directly Supervised by Chief Program Officer.
· Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and coaching to the Assistant Program Director and Case Workers; provide supervision to students and volunteers as needed.
· Review care plans, assessments, and client records for accuracy and completeness.
· Conduct annual performance evaluations and support staff professional development.
· Monitor completion of required staff training and assist with compliance requirements.
· Facilitate regular team meetings and support communication among staff.
· Participate in NYSOFA, NYC Aging and CASC training and educational sessions.
· Attend local educational and informational sessions and conferences to support ongoing professional development.
· Complete annual personnel reviews.
