As an Accounting Associate, you play a vital role in safeguarding the Bank’s financial integrity, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the daily operations that allow our teams to serve clients with confidence.

Maintain accurate financial records through daily and periodic general ledger balancing, including Federal Reserve balancing, Teller and ATM balancing, Loan balancing
Perform reconciliations for key accounts, including Positive Pay and correspondent banks
Help safeguard the Bank’s funds through effective use of Positive Pay controls
Collaborate and cross‑train with accounting team members to support continuity and efficiency
Assist with department projects and process improvements
Support other departments by researching discrepancies and resolving accounting‑related questions
Perform all duties in compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, and Bank policies
Accurate, timely reconciliations and balanced accounts
Strong attention to detail
Consistent compliance with regulatory and internal control standards
Effective collaboration with accounting and cross‑functional teams
Reliability and follow‑through in meeting deadlines
We are seeking candidates who bring:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or experience is beneficial
Prior banking experience, preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Comfort working with numbers, reconciliations, and financial data
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to manage deadlines in a structured, fast‑paced environment
Professional communication skills and respect for confidentiality
A team‑oriented mindset and willingness to support others
