Work together with upper manager on personnel issues, training, and retraining of team members: o Training new and existing team members

Every day shift duties, cleaning lists, prep needs, etc. oTraining on proper food handling, storage, and usage

Training on proper cleaning and maintenance oTraining on register transactions

Training on proper preparation of each menu item oTraining on customer experience and service recovery

Reporting any issues with customers or personnel to restaurant manager via teams or face to face conversation.

Closing till at the end of each day
Responsible for the day-to-day operations this will include but will not be limited to: o Leading team members in each aspect needed for a smooth and reasonably paced shift

Helping team members when they may have questions oHolding team members accountable in keeping their stations clean and stocked enough to continue through the shift

Keeping team members focused and moving forward in a positive way each shift oHolding team members accountable for their shift duties including prep, orders, cleaning, and closing duties

Issuing deep cleaning assignments oLeading their team in proper time management

Stepping up when shifts are needing to be covered
Shift leads may assist in Inventory Control. This can consist of: o Help maintain ordering lists

Place orders when needed, although primarily done by the manager oHelp maintain proper backstock quantities of all products

Hold team members responsible for following FIFO with all product oThrowing and checking off orders
