Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Medical Provider (PA or FNP) to join our dedicated healthcare team. Must be comfortable treating all ages and able to perform minor procedures as needed. Work 3-4 shifts a week.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for accurate data collection and medical documentation.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging, laboratory tests, and clinical research protocols..
- Participate in discharge planning, infection control practices, and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in emergency medicine or urgent care environments preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in procedures like IV infusion, phlebotomy, airway management, etc.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10 coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology is essential.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and medication administration.
