Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Travel Recruiter to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. In this role, you will drive the recruitment process for traveling professionals across various mining projects, ensuring we attract top-tier talent efficiently. Your proactive approach will help us meet project demands while maintaining compliance with employment laws and fostering strong candidate relationships.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for travel-based mining roles using a variety of recruiting tools and platforms.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies utilizing social media marketing (recruitment), talent management software, and research to identify high-potential candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal hiring managers, external agencies, and potential candidates through effective communication skills and relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with HR legal requirements, employment law in talent management, and company policies throughout the hiring process.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Lever or iCIMS to track candidate progress and generate recruitment reports.
- Coordinate employee orientation sessions for new hires, supporting their onboarding journey into our organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruiting, especially in technical recruiting or executive recruiting within the mining or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication skills to engage candidates effectively.
- Familiarity with talent management software such as Workday, SAP PeopleSoft, or UltiPro is preferred.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law applicable to talent acquisition practices globally.
- Ability to conduct cold calls and lead generation activities to attract qualified candidates.
- Experience with social media management (recruitment) and HRIS systems like Salesforce or ADP for candidate sourcing and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
