Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor cleaning, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas within residential properties.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living environments.
- Manage laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies with proper technique to ensure safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
- Use janitorial equipment effectively for cleaning surfaces and floors while adhering to safety standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with the housekeeping services provided.
- Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Support outdoor work activities such as patio or garden cleaning when required.
Experience
- Previous residential housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment, and surface sanitation techniques is advantageous.
- Experience in carpet cleaning or floor care adds value to your application.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service and client communication ensures positive interactions with residents.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
