About Nomad-Chicago
NOMAD is the vision of Lara Moynihan - a woman, wife, mother of four, corporate attorney and philanthropist.
As she contemplated how to directly provide opportunity, she discovered a retail space that she fell in love with, located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.
Lara decided that with Erika, a seasoned retail executive, as her consultant, she could create a space that would offer Chicago something unique and provide employment opportunities for the IGC community.
Knowing that in today’s changing retail environment, retail alone was not enough to bring customers to NOMAD, Lara wanted to create an experiential destination.
NOMAD hopes that by offering unique goods, delicious coffee and treats, and meeting and event space, it will be on everyone’s list of places to discover in Chicago.
What we need:
We are looking for a part-time tribe member with the following responsibilities and skills:
Someone with client focused experiential sales expertise
Interested in fashion, beauty & wellness
The ability to go above and beyond to craft an unforgettable customer service experience
You will act as an advocate for Nomad-Chicago both in the store and the community
Assist in community involvement and events
The ability to think and act quickly while maintaining a polished composure under any circumstance
Merchandise in a creative thoughtful way
Maintain a clean work area
Observing Cafe/Store dress and grooming guidelines
Minimum of 1 year of customer service and sales experience preferred
Be reliable, punctual and able to work assigned schedule that includes weekends
