Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. This position is Part Time with the opportunity of regularly every getting extra hours. The hours are Mon 4:15pm - 11:30pm ish, Wed 5:00pm - 1:15am ish, Sat 5:00pm - 2:00am ish and the last Thursday of the month 4:00pm - 2:00am ish. This position mostly is for floor care including scrubbing and buffing, stripping and waxing, scrub and recoats of VCT floors. This requires the candidate to have a valid drivers license and be able to drive our vehicle to different locations, including towing a small enclosed trailer with equipment for the job. You must also be able to load and unload into a trailer and run a scrubber and burnisher. The candidate needs to have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Prior experience in cleaning/janitorial services, using a scrubber and propane burnisher, stripping and waxing/Scrub and recoating floors is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Scrubbing, edge mopping and buffing of VCT floors
- Stripping and Waxing and Scrub and Recoating floors
- Driving to different job locations
- Loading and unloading machines
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting and wiping down surfaces in waiting room and offices, cleaning bathrooms, breakroom, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying garbages and cleaning garbage cans as needed using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards for quality and safety.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself in a courteous manner when interacting with clients and team members.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Experience
- Having experience in using a scrubber and buffer is a plus but not required.
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new hires.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A valid drivers license and reliable transportation is needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
