Position Summary:
The Valet will greet Guests arriving at the Casino and Hotel and is responsible for parking and retrieving Guests’ vehicles Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Greet Guests as they arrive at the valet driveways of the Hotel and parking garage.
3. Safely park vehicles in designated areas and retrieve them promptly when Guests are ready to leave.
4. Accurately record vehicle locations and place Guests’ keys in a safe location.
5. Provide directions to Guests as needed.
6. Assist with traffic flow at the valet driveways as needed, ensuring a smooth and orderly flow of vehicles.
7. Adhere to all safety and security procedures, ensuring the safety and security of both Guests and vehicles.
8. Keep the valet area clean and organized.
9. Follow directives as assigned by Valet/Transportation Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school education or equivalent preferred.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, Guests and outside agencies in both written and verbal form.
3. Driving record must not include an active DUI, or suspended license. Must be insurable to drive company vehicles.
4. Must be able to operate vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
5. Must be at least 18 years of age.
6. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Must be able to move at a jogging pace for the majority of an eight (8) hour shift.
3. Must be able to walk and down stairs repeatedly.
4. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment and drive vehicles.
Work Conditions:
Work is primarily performed outdoors and involves exposure to high and low temperatures, direct sunlight, wet surfaces, and loud noises. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area. Frequent contact with fellow Team Members and Guests is standard.
