Overview
Cronus Renovations is seeking a Lead Renovation Technician / Working Supervisor to oversee residential renovation projects while remaining hands-on in the field.
This role is perfect for an experienced technician who is ready to step into leadership, run clean job sites, and help train and guide other technicians.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of various construction disciplines, including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing techniques. This position offers an opportunity to lead diverse projects and contribute to the successful completion of renovation initiatives across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate renovation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
- Lead and direct renovation teams, assigning tasks and providing technical guidance on construction methods and safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to plan work sequences effectively.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized fabrication equipment to execute construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, tile laying, flooring installation, masonry work, and more.
- Perform or oversee construction inspection activities to ensure quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project.
- Materials pickup and delivery to site as needed
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to develop skills in various trades including caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, remodeling, hardscape installation, and more.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years residential renovation experience
- Strong multi-trade skill set
- Proven leadership or crew lead experience
- Ability to read scopes, plans, and timelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred:
- Experience training or mentoring technicians
- Proper vehicle for materials pickup and deliver
- Strong customer communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
