You’ll teach foundational signs, vocabulary, fingerspelling, and basic conversational skills while helping students practice through games, activities, and real-world scenarios.
You don't need to be a professional ASL instructor or completely fluent. If you have a solid understanding of beginner-level ASL, can demonstrate basic signs clearly, and enjoy helping others learn, you may be a great fit.
Curriculum guidance and instructional materials are provided, so you’ll have support as you prepare and lead your sessions.

- Maintain an organized and positive learning environment
- Communicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff
- Arrive prepared, dependable, and ready to teach

Experience in ASL instruction, interpreting, Deaf education, teaching, tutoring, mentoring, camps, youth programs, or community programs is helpful but not required.
