Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures aligned with hospitality industry best practices
- Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, maintenance needs, and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies, linens, laundry operations, and custodial equipment
- Oversee laundry services to ensure timely processing of linens and uniforms while maintaining quality standards
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, addressing guest requests promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial roles within a hospitality or hotel setting
- Strong supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams
- Expertise in housekeeper management including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Experience with laundry operations within a hospitality environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and quality assurance
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests while fostering a positive team atmosphere
