Parking Lot Cleaner
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Parking Lot Cleaner to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of parking facilities and surrounding exterior areas.
This is an active, outdoor position that requires working in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping facilities clean, is self-motivated, and can work independently, as well as with another person, with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Keep parking lots clean and free of trash, leaves, and debris.
- Sweep parking areas, sidewalks, and walkways.
- Operate backpack blowers and other equipment to remove leaves and debris.
- Empty exterior trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
- Clean elevators, vestibules, stairwells, and common areas.
- Clean interior and exterior glass partitions, doors, and windows.
- Inspect parking areas for cleanliness and safety concerns.
- Perform minor parking gate arm repairs and resets when necessary.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain equipment properly.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (required).
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
