Duties
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management.
- Assist in administering medications as directed by veterinary staff.
- Support veterinarians during examinations or treatments, utilizing aseptic techniques when necessary.
- Reception support as needed.
- Handle animals safely and effectively, demonstrating proper dog handling skills.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care activities and any observations related to their health or behavior.
Requirements
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and basic veterinary practices is preferred.
- Experience in cat and dog handling and general animal care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and veterinary critical care is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and pet owners.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting animals when necessary.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
