Required Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
Preferred Education:
- Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
Required Experience:
- Three to five years of patient access, registration, scheduling, revenue cycle front-end, or healthcare operations experience required
Preferred Experience:
- At least one to two years of lead, supervisory, or team coordination experience preferred
- Experience in an FQHC, community health center, ambulatory clinic, or other safety-net setting strongly preferred
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with electronic health record and practice management systems, preferably Epic/OCHIN, and patient portal workflows such as MyChart
- Understanding of HIPAA, customer service standards, and the importance of accurate data capture to support billing, quality, and UDS reporting
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual skills preferred based on patient population served
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, uninsured workflows, and sliding fee discount program processes preferred
