Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Construction Project Manager / Sales professional to lead construction projects from inception to completion while actively engaging in business development. This dynamic role combines project management expertise with a passion for sales, ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive approach to driving growth and excellence in the construction industry.
Duties
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project coordination and sales opportunities.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates using tools like HeavyBid and Construction estimating software, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Utilize project management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and Construction management platforms to monitor progress, manage schedules, and track project milestones.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings like Civil 3D to ensure precise execution of design specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess construction site conditions, verify work quality, and ensure safety compliance based on construction site experience.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage contractual documentation to protect company interests while fostering positive client relationships.
- Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools, ensuring all tasks align with project timelines and resource availability.
- Implement effective time management strategies across teams to optimize productivity and meet project deadlines.
- Drive business growth by identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts and pursuing new client leads through active outreach.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management with a solid understanding of project scheduling, site supervision, and blueprint reading.
- Demonstrated success in construction sales with a track record of building client relationships and closing deals.
- Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid or equivalent software.
- Familiarity with contracts, schematics, project documentation, and schematic drawings.
- Hands-on construction site experience to effectively oversee operations on the ground.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
