Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation across all areas of residential properties
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living spaces, adhering to safety standards and using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care routines including sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and polishing to keep floors pristine and well-maintained
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and effectively
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure proper use of janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment while practicing environmentally friendly methods whenever possible
- Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistency in service quality and cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, janitorial equipment, and outdoor work environments is preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work activities required for comprehensive cleaning tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness consistently
- Valid experience in custodial or janitorial roles demonstrates reliability and attention to detail
